Our third HocoLocal Lady party was another success. About thirty people came by to celebrate our connections to one another because and through our connection to Ilana Bittner. Each event is different because of the space we are in and the people who attend and varying degree of connection that already exists. With Ilana, we gathered at La Palapa Too, in Maple Lawn. This recently expanded restaurant, painted in vibrant Mexican color and imagery was the perfect backdrop to casual and comfortable evening of socializing. Many thanks to Lucy and Meriam who sectioned off a private area and made sure we had everything we needed. And a special high five to Pepe, who was our server extraordinaire.
A big shout-out, once again, goes to Vicki Kishter and Jen Ballantine for the tremendous job they do at Corridor Printing, as the company that prints our American City Girls cards, and for helping us with our parties.
Our holiday round-up party is taking shape. Invitations will be sent to all three of our recent HocoLocal Ladies, so stay tuned for an email invitation to that event. Now is a great time to update your Socializr.com profile to make sure you can get the most from the social, business and community connections at the party … and afterward as well.
Lastly, a very special thank you to those who supported our venture by purchasing a Note Card Collection. What we’ve discovered is that people buy our cards for women who mean something special to them. And you demonstrated you special meaning to Ilana in being invited to her party, particularly if you were present for Ilana in a time when care and tenderness could be offered.
We managed a few pictures this time around. Be sure to check them out.
