In 2006, before Facebook was “a phenomenon,” just as blogging was getting started, we decided to combine new communication technologies with hosting social events as one important way to help lead our local community into the future. We hosted dozens of events over a two year period, spurring the learning and growth of social media to those open to attending. Today this site serves as an archive of some of the content, the learning and memories we have of those two years.
